Whelen 2806 Siren Test - Oklahoma City, OK

September 3rd, 2010 Park and Hudson Avenue. This siren in Downtown OKC is one of 2 Whelen 2806 sirens known in the OKC Siren System, the other one is at SW 104th Street and Walker Avenue. This siren has not been here long, I can tell because it has a black concrete pole as opposed to the usual gray, and a different antenna setup. It is also mounted quite a bit lower than most of OKC's 2800s. To the left, the light brown colored building I believe is the Oklahoma County Courthouse. My grandma used to work in the Municipal building, which is behind and to the left of the camera's location. Enjoy.
